European LabVIEW Roadshow Tour in Bulgaria

Learn LabVIEW and measurements basics during free-of-charge workshops

NI LabVIEW is a system design tool that allows engineers and scientists to develop their applications with high-level graphical approach. Whilst initially designed for simple instrument control (GPIB) applications, during 28 years of its development graphical programming concept has become the core of thousands of data acquisition, test and control systems.

Nowadays LabVIEW can be used to program real-time applications, define functionality of Field-Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGAs) for fast DSP and control and can target various deployment targets – from embedded controllers to hundreds-channels measurements stations. Join our free of charge workshop and learn the basics of LabVIEW and Data Acquisition through the hands-on exercises.

During free of charge, introductory workshops engineers from our Bulgarian partner Metrisys will lead you through the process of learning concepts such as:

  • Configuring your data acquisition system. Modular device will be capable of acquiring the data from:

      - Thermocouples

      - Strain gages

      - Accelerometers and microphones

      - General purpose I/O (24V, 0-20mA, digital I/O and more)

  • Overview of typical sensors – including the ones offered directly from NI
  • Learning basics of Virtual Instrumentation – dataflow, controls and indicators on the User Interface
  • Using high-level data acquisition and digital signal processing (DSP) functions for filtering, spectral analysis (FFT) and decision-making.
  • Reporting and data presentation, including mobile devices (with iOS or Android operating systems)
